Through-bore slip ring is a general name of slip ring with hole in the center, it is mainly used to transmit precious signals, weak current, big current and high voltage

Preparation and Fixing: Prior to installation, plan and arrange the rotor-side and stator-side wiring. Then insert the slip ring onto the rotating shaft, align the shaft with the mounting holes, and secure the assembly using the four screws on the rotor side. Before tightening screws, ensure perfect concentricity between the shaft and slip ring to guarantee stable operation.

Anti-Rotation and Cable Management: Insert the locking rod into the U-shaped groove of the anti-rotation plate to secure the slip ring on the stator side. Simultaneously organize all cables to prevent entanglement with the rotor during operation, which could cause wiring damage or equipment failure.

Environmental Protection Notes: As precision electronic components, slip rings require additional targeted protective measures (e.g., installing protective enclosures) when used in harsh environments such as dusty, humid, or high-temperature conditions. Alternatively, select slip ring models with higher protection ratings to extend service life.

Weight Limit: The slip ring is not designed to bear loads; it must not support the weight of connected equipment. Ensure wires remain free from additional tension or weight loads to prevent structural damage.

Wire Protection: Maintain wire integrity during installation. Do not damage wire insulation to prevent electrical performance degradation or failures caused by insulation failure.

Connection Requirements: Use flexible connections instead of rigid ones between rotor and stator sides to reduce mechanical stress impact on the slip ring. This ensures long-term stable operation and extends service life.

Screw Retention: All fastening screws must be secured using locking measures (e.g., installing lock washers, applying threadlocking adhesive). This prevents vibration or impact during operation from loosening or dislodging screws, ensuring structural integrity.
